Update: Mads Lewis, Nessa Barrett, and Jaden Hossler's Drama: All You Need to Know
Since 2019, Mads and Jaden had been dating on and off. According to Seventeen, their relationship seemed to be hanging by a thread, and Jaden's song with Nessa was the final straw. The duo released their song "La Di Die" and spent a significant amount of time promoting it. Mads hinted that before Nessa entered the scene, Jaden and her relationship was fine. Mads later expressed her regret for taking the drama to social media, writing “I was never jealous of a song nor jealous of her. I know Ness better than anyone and she knows exactly why I posted this video and that’s all that matters.”
She also wanted to contact Nessa directly at the same time. It turned out, however, to be a failed attempt. Shortly after, Nessa broke her silence on Twitter, revealing that she had decided to keep her distance from all negativity. Jaden went live on Instagram on April 12 to discuss the drama. He said: “I was not a good boyfriend, I will be honest. A lot of stuff happened. I hate this.” Nessa and Jaden are currently in a relationship now. A little awkward if you ask us.
Update: Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren
Jake Paul, a social media celebrity, as most of us know from the former content House, Team 10, has yet again involved himself in some controversy. On a Triller Fight Club pay-per-view on April 18, he took the next step in his boxing career with a brutal first-round knockout of former MMA world champion Ben Askren in an eight-round cruiserweight fight. Paul began his professional boxing career by knocking out a fellow Youtuber and a former NBA slam dunk champion. Critics said he had yet to face a true fighter; on April 18, he fought Askren. Paul proved his worth by putting hands on Askren in under two minutes and stopping him with a scintillating right hand.
Update: McCaulay Culkin and Brenda Song’s baby news has you shaken? You’re not on your own!
And now for some good news: Macaulay Culkin, who you may know from the iconic Home Alone, and his wife, Brenda Song, who you may know again from the equally iconic Suite Life on Deck, welcomed a healthy baby into their family on April 5. The couple met on the set of Changeland, a funny touching tale about friendship (directed by Culkin’s old friend Seth Green), in Thailand a few years ago. Culkin painted a yellow brick road leading to the front door when they moved in together to a charming home. They’re all dressed in matching pyjamas. Song bakes bread and has done so since before the pandemic. They have three cats (one of which he calls Santa and gave her for Christmas in 2019), a few fish, a Shibu Inu, and a blue-headed pionus, which is a parrot.
All fades into the background now, as it does when you have a kid. Dakota Song Culkin, born Monday, April 5 at 1:10 pm in Los Angeles, weighing 6 pounds, 14 ounces, is the new cornerstone of their private universe.
