Belated Eid Mubarak to the BSB Community! 

Our April 2022 issue is finally here! As Spring blooms into full swing this year, The Monthly Magazine has focused on the theme of  ‘A Blossoming World’, which you can read all about via this pdf!

Our issue covers monumental occurrences across the vast world, from the accelerating climate crisis to critical leaps in technology, whilst also retaining the light hearted celebratory spirit of spring by focusing on its many cultural events, including Holi and Ramadan! We dive into the biggest events of pop culture, looking at iconic fashion moments - and disasters -  of the Grammys and Coachella. 

 

We would like to congratulate and applaud Reema Zowayed, our talented leader of Photography and avid writer for our popular Trending Column, who has been chosen as Editor’s Choice for this month. Her deep dive into local Bahraini photographer ​​Ali Shehabi was an incredibly well thought out piece; we are in awe of her incredible work and leadership! 

 

Whilst this is the first edition with a new editorial team, it is also the last edition of the year! This year has seen some incredible moments with a true start at a return to normality, the first exam series in 2 years, many school events such as National day and Spirit Week, and so much more! We have achieved more than ever as a school community and we can’t wait to see what more is to come!
