SEPTEMBER 2022 ISSUE
The Monthly’s September 2022 issue is here!
With a new school year for all of us, a new school for some, and transitioning times for countries around the world we decided to focus on the theme ‘Start of a Journey’.

After a warm welcome back into the blue and white tinted halls of BSB, our year ahead is finally in full swing, and an exciting journey awaits us all. In similar fashion, our issue covers many of the influential and momentous events that have occurred over the summer break and throughout the month of September. We cover everything from the disastrous floods in Pakistan, to Saudi Arabia’s The Line. We share an exclusive interview with Mr Weeks Barnitt who shares insight into the new and remodelled sixth form, and where it's going in the future. With this being the first month back, our talented writers have also shared a few tips and tricks to help make the most of this academic year.
We would like to congratulate and applaud Desiree Menezes, our talented leader of Current Events Journalism, who has been chosen as Editor’s Choice for this month. Desiree perceives journalism to be integral to raising awareness and communicating truthful information about events worldwide, a sentiment that is evident in her gripping expose upon a controversial internet personality.
